I was raised in Selma, Alabama—a city known for its historical significance in the Civil Rights Movement. It’s also where my love for numbers and finance began. Growing up, I learned the importance of financial literacy at an early age, especially due to my mother’s disabilities. I was balancing a checkbook by the time I was eight years old.

Some might say I was destined for a career in finance, but I believe I was meant to assist people. My mother taught me to always think of others, to be kind, patient, and selfless. These values guided me in becoming a successful financial needs specialist, and they continue to influence the way I approach my work today.
